This story warmed my heart. It used to be if you were forced to evacuate due to a natural disaster, you had to leave your pets behind. I always hated hearing that on the news, and vowed I would take my pets, come hell or, literally, high water. Well, our country has woken up, and now encourage pets to go with their owners!
