This week is “Adopt a Less-Adoptable Dog” week. That means black dogs, larger dogs, and older dogs, which are usually the last ones to get adopted….and the first to die if they end up in a shelter with space limitations. I lost my old black lab mix a couple months ago. (He was 3-legged even, how’s THAT for less-adoptable!). I can say that the trifecta of old, black, and big made him the awesomest dog! Everybody who passed him up missed out – worked out well for me!
